Abstract (EN)

As a result of the changes in human life and developing technology, the natural environment was moved away, and they have to live and work in artificial environments. As a result, the use of artificial lighting systems has become inevitable. There are many studies and scientific publications that show that the circadian rhythm in the human body is disrupted as a result of not getting enough sunlight during the day, and this situation causes both mental and physical diseases. For this reason, some studies have been started in recent years to develop artificial lighting systems, focusing on human health. These new lighting systems, known by names such as "Biodynamic Lighting", "Human Centric Lighting" or "Circadian Lighting", are developed by considering human metabolism and psychology. The concept of illumination, illumination design and its parameters, and illumination issues have been discussed through this thesis study and has been reviewed literature. General informations about the importance and function of lighting in retailing and the effect of biodynamic lighting on human health are taken part in. The effects of light color on the shopping behavior of the customers were examined and the comparison of conventional lighting and LED lighting in terms of energy efficiency was made. In this context, a comparison of the current LED lighting system with conventional and biodynamic lighting system simulations was made through the sample of Mavi Giyim Maltepe Piazza shopping Center.
