Abstract (EN)
Communication is the lifetime interaction process of an individual with other people. The quality of communication is more significant in health institutions because they belong to service sector. The quality of the service, patient satisfaction and partially the success of treatment process depend on positive communication process. This thesis is about the communication between patients and employees within the radiology deparments of health instutions. The subject is studied in theory and with surveys. In theory part, the significance of communication is emphasized and the factors that affect communication are explained. Also the information about Radiology Department, service types, employees and patients is given within the study. Field study is completed between the employees and patients of Radiology department within İstanbul Asia side. The results are analysed with SPSS system and published accordingly. As a result of the evaluation of data achieved in the study, the affirmative contribution of both participating groups in the communication process are observed high so this leads to the conclusion that the radiology staff and the patients should be having a decent and expected communication process.
