Analysis of religious education and sabra-encouraging viables

The Quran, which is the fundamental and primary source of Islam, has always been a true guide for people. In many verses of the Qur'an, the ways that lead to salvation / disaster are shown so that people can live in a principled and honorable way. This is in accordance with the purposes of creation, peace, happiness; that way people are encouraged to think about these concepts. When the Quran is considered and examined as a whole, it can be seen that some principles are set forth in many verses that are meant to enlighten, guide and be a resource for people. Moral values constitute one of these principles. How these values are handled in the Quran and what their educational value is a matter that needs to be researched. One of the most basic values that people are asked to acquire and which is addressed in the Quran is "patience". Among the verses that guide people with the moral values in them, the verses that encourage patience constitute an important part. In this study, the answer to the question "What is the educational value of the verses about patience?" was sought. It will be the subject of our thesis to determine the verses that encourage patience, to analyze these verses in their main lines of meaning in terms of their effect on religious education, and to reveal the educational value of these verses. In this context, it will be the aim of our thesis to try to make a positive contribution to today's religious education practices and understandings, both theoretically and practically.(edited) In our thesis, the data was collected by documentation method. As a result of the research, by evaluating the data obtained it was found that the number of verses about patience in the Quran was quite high. It has been determined that these verses contain elements that will enable people to focus and turn their attention on the value of patience, to recognize and understand the value of patience in various aspects, to be motivated to acquire it and to live in harmony with it, and ultimately to adopt this value.
