Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study, the social, economic, political and cultural activities of the woman in the Safavid State, which dominated the territories of Iran in the 16th and 17th centuries, were examined. Before the 16th century, in the Turkish family, living in Iran, Azerbaijan and eastern Turkey and having the features of traditional Turkish-Mongol tribes way of life, the woman's way of life has been shaped in accordance with the semi-nomadic life conditions. However, with the process of nationalization, in which the Safavids set up an independent identity of Iran, state-official Shiism and established Iranian culture in this new society, the Safavid woman took on a different shape. With the help of Educational attainment and economic independence during the period mentioned, the Safavid woman took on roles in educational and religious activities, as well as in political activities with intelligence that enabled them to use all of these features.
