The sample of the study consists of 412 healthcare professionals. Resilience is measured by the averages of Brief Resilience Scale and the Five Factor Personality traits measured by the averages of Adjectives Based Personality Scale. As a result, a negative correlation was found with resilience and neuroticism. A positive relationship was found between resilience and extraversion, conscientiousness and openness to new experiences. However, no relationship was found between resilience and agreeableness. In addition, the neuroticism and extraversion, significantly explain resilience; openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness did not significantly explain psychological resilience.
