Abstract (EN)

One of the natural resources of our country, Salda Lake, is located in the Lakes Region. The lake usually attracts attention with its clear water and turquoise color. In recent years, it has attracted great interest in our country and the world. The number of visitors to Salda Lake, which is seen as a tourism destination, is increasing day by day. Due to the increasing number of visitors, the plant flora in the region and especially the geophyte plants are under pressure. In this study, geophyte plants around Salda Lake, known for its natural beauties, were identified. Within the scope of the study, 42 geophyte plants belonging to the families Amaryllidaceae (2), Apiaceae (1), Araceae (2), Colchicaceae (3), Geraniaceae (2), Iridaceae (6), Liliaceae (13), Orchidaceae (9), Primulaceae (1), Ranunculaceae (2) and Valerianaceae (1) were determined. 5 of these 42 plants are endemic. In the study, family, altitude, flowering time, habitat, collection time, botanical characteristics, endemism and danger category information of geophyte plants are given in a tabular form. In addition, the distribution areas of geophyte plants around the lake are shown on the map. Protection methods are presented as suggestions according to the danger status of endemic species.
