Abstract (EN)
This study examines the thoughts of Mimar Sinan on art, existence, and space, as presented in his treatise Tazkira al-Bunyan, in relation to Martin Heidegger's ideas on the same concepts. The research aims to draw philosophical inferences about Sinan's works rather than conducting an architectural analysis based on his architectural works and treatise. The study compares Sinan's understanding of Wahdat al-Wujud with Heidegger's art and space concepts grounded in phenomenology. This comparison reveals that the ontologies of both thinkers are closely related to their conceptions of art and space, and vice versa.
