An overview on the history of Islamic book of Şehbenderzâde Filibeli Ahmet Hilmi in terms of the History of Islamic Sectors and the talk

Unfortunately, most of the historians, who were influenced by political ambitions, could not evaluate the history of Islam objectively. Şehbenderzâde Filibeli Ahmet Hilmi Bey indicated in his book History of Islam that historiansunder the influence of political ambitions had confused issues that should be evaluated separately, such as virtual duties, esoteric virtues, morality, wisdom and social standing and that the historical culture developed in this way affected Islamic societiesseriously. According to Ahmet Hilmi Bey, this effect dragged the conflicts between Islamic societies into a dead end instead of eliminating and solving the problems, and correspondingly, in the historical process, the separation between Islamic societies and as a result of this, bigotry came to be inevitable. Ahmet Hilmi Bey stated that the History of Islamic Sects also had its share of political ambitions and was built on the erroneous foundation. He tried to support this thought by addressing the conflicts between the two biggest sects of Islam, Ahl al-Sunnah and Shia. In addition, Ahmet Hilmi Bey attempted to exemplify through the Dutch orientalist Dozy that the science of history, which the Muslims built on the false foundation, was abused by the orientalists.
