The mecmua of Şem`î (transcription text-analysis)

Poem mecmua, play an important role in the Classical Turkish Literature. Especially, they are valuable because they contain contemporary poets and their works. In this study, afterwards an outline of mecmuas are given and the life and the literary personality of Meşrebz?de Dâmâdı Şem`î are expressed based on different sources, particularly his own poems. Later, the work, composed of his own poems in his mecmua, which is located on T.Y. No. 9651 of the Collection of Manuscripts in the Istanbul University Library, which contains his own poems and other poets? poems is transformed into a transcription text. The poems of Meşrebz?de Dâmâdı Şem`î are classified into three groups; The Poems of Şem`î, The Poems Written About Şem`î, and The Poems of Other Poets.
