Abstract (EN)
In this study, the transformation of viewing practices and surroundings in cinema were analyzed through cinema related people in the cities Adana and Istanbul. For this purpose, 20 interviewees were selected, which were chosen according to the maximum likelihood of the sampling method. In the first part of the study, new communication technologies, new media, industrial structure of cinema, film production stages are emphasized.In the second part, the temporal transformation of viewing practices,the relevance of theatre with cinema, transformation of viewing practices of world cinema history, the transformation of viewing practices of Turkish cinema history and the transformation of movie viewing media in Turkey have been described. In the last part, in-depth interview texts are analyzed through content analysis method and results are presented accordingly
