Investigation of product packaging for children in terms of graphic design i̇n the context of sustainability and a sample study on the subject

In recent years, rapidly increasing and problematic industrialization, raw material problems, global warming and climate problems are increasing. One of the biggest problems of our age is the harm to people's nature. Even though many people do not realize what damage they are doing to their lives, the world is moving towards an irreversible path every day. For a livable world and environment; To protect nature, necessary precautions must be taken in advance. It is strange that today's children are born just like adults. The problems and needs that increase as we grow up are a huge market area. According to many information made in Europe, especially children have emerged as a great power in the field of economy. Almost no child or family who enters a market or a store leaves empty-handed. Considering all this, it can be seen that children's liquid packaging is one of the most consumed wastes. The rapid development of single-use and non-recyclable packaging causes a huge waste problem. This waste problem makes the issue of sustainability directly important. Within the scope of the study, sustainable design examples for sustainability, environmentally friendly packaging materials and products are discussed from a graphic design perspective.In this research, mixed methods are used to create permanence regarding the problems in the field of sustainability. At the end of the study, a friendly, nature-friendly packaging design that ensures sustainability was revealed as an exemplary study. With this design, the production of product packaging for children, who are the most consumed group in today's consumption, creates a universal for the future of the world.
