Abstract (EN)

ın this study, the effect of Multiple Intelligence implementations supported byMastery Learning, Multiple Intelligence implementations, Mastery Learning andtraditional instruction on achievement, retention and attitudes towards the lesson in?Cell? and ?Tissue? of unit ?Living Creature?s Excursion Inner Conformation? of?Science? lesson has been investigated.This study that was conducted over 6th grade students in Ali Emiri PrimarySchool of Diyarbakır, I. term of 2004-2005 academic year lasted consecutive fiveweeks. This study was conducted over equal for groups; and the total numbers ofstudents in groups were 118. In this school, 6-H was chosen for Multiple Intelligenceimplementations supported by Mastery Learning; 6-A for Multiple Intelligenceimplementations; 6-C for Mastery Learning and 6-B for control group.In this study, we applied the ?test-retest? design. For data collection achievementtest and attitude scale were used.The findings from the research can be summarized as follows:1. Multiple Intelligence implementations supported by Mastery Learning wasapplied group?s achievement was significantly high according to control group.Thus, Multiple Intelligence implementations supported by Mastery Learningmore effective on achievement.2. No significant difference can be found on student?s retention the sciencebetween these groups. As a result, all these counted methods had the some effect3. No significant difference can be found on student?s attitudes towards the sciencebetween these groups. As a result, all these counted methods had the someeffect.
