Abstract (EN)

In our topic 'Vigil', we tried to analyze firstly, the importance of vigil, than the vigil of previous religious communities, vigil as a way to acquire the love of Allah and thanksgiving to Allah, and finally vigil as one of the indispensable supererogatory prayer of our prophet. Additionally, we mentioned the vigils' merit, its specialty, being the source of moral pleasure and provision for doomsday, its contribution to good ways and protection against sin and negligence. Because of being cure of heart illnesses and healing of bodily diseases, we searched this subject. We explored the attitudes of companions of prophet, communion imams, denominational members towards vigil, and conveyed the way they revive this vigil. Moreover, we analyzed the content and the meaning of vigil, the validity of night prayer, the number of rakat and the way how to perform it; the connection between vigil and worship, tear, wisdom, consideration and reading of Koran; when to wake up, how long to pray, the permanency and when to be excuse for vigil. We finished our work with the subtitles sleep and vigil, the habit to prayer with the family, to support vigil with siesta, the facilitating and difficult reasons for vigil prayer.
