Abstract (EN)
Bringing across the fracture ends (reduction) and maintaining the stabilization are the most important points of fracture treatment. Long bone fractures in the wings and extremities are frequently seen in both domestic and wild birds. In this study, semicircular and circular external fixator treatments apply in tarsometatarsal fractures of chickens and then recovery will be evaluated clinically and biomechanically. If the results to be obtained in these methods provide fracture healing at the circular external fixator level of the semicircular external fixator, further studies will allow the application of poultry in long bone fractures in the femurs and wings.
