Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between gastronomy and advertising was examined. The main subject of the study is the 'Traditional Advertising Agencies and specially Thematic Advertising Agencies' based on advertising, which is the basis of sales-marketing and is an important communication channel. In this thesis, the study of differences and similarities between Thematic Advertising Agencies and Traditional Advertising Agencies, as well as the positive and negative aspects of these two structures were analyzed. Qualitative research was adopted as research method and Gastronomista which was the first Thematic Advertising Agency in Turkey, was selected as the case study. In this context, face to face interviews were held with the administrators of Gastronomista and the firms which work with Gastronomista and hypotheses were tested.
