The concept of from in Turkish art and abstraction concept in Mübin Orhon's paintings

In the development progress of pictorial art, the social and psychological problems which occured in the 19th century led artists to create a new concept of form. After 1910, in the pictorial art of Europe, with the lead of Cubizm there have been different approaches in the abstract expression that can be categorized under headlines like Geometrical Abstraction, Dadaism, De Stijl and Suprematism. After 1940's, it can be seen rather the understanding of Western Painting became more apparent in the Republic Period and had impressions on the progress of abstraction in Turkish Painting as well as in Europe. Categorization of Abstraction in Modern Turkish Painting is like; Geometrical Abstraction, Geometrical Non-Figuratives, Lyrical Abstraction and Lyrical Non-Figuratives. Adnan Çoker, Ferruh Başağa, Zeki Faik İzer, Devrim Erbil, Abidin Dino, Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu and Mübin Orhon are rather known artists who produce works with understanding of Formalism. The experiences of Mübin Orhon's, who transmitted the Concept of Abstraction to the Turkish Painting very successfuly, in the artistic environment in Paris and his spiritual and psychological painting analysis have brought Turkish Painting to a special place. In the context of the understanding of Lyrical Non-Figurative Abstarction, Mübin Orhon and his paintings can be listed in a retrospective periods like; Geometrical Abstraction Period, Staining Absctract Period, Poetic Abtraction Period and Monochrome Period. Artist produced works consist of the values of two opposite stain and simplicity which he also used as a theme in his paintings. In Orhon's art, Monochrome Period, which is only colour and light takes a place in foreground, is the most distinct period and a source of inspiration as a new way of expression because in the mystic searche of content that affected by Mevlana , it leads the formal values to a deeply sensational essence.
