Abstract (EN)
In line with the digital technology transformation in the insurance sector, various facilities emerged in terms of businesses and employees. At this point, employees' attitudes towards digitalization in the insurance sector emerge as an important element. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the attitudes of insurance sector employees on digital technology on their productivity. For this purpose, 412 people from insurance sector employees were surveyed. According to the findings obtained from the study, attitudes towards digital technology has a significant effect on the productivity of the employees'. Accordingly, the use of technology at work and attitudes towards the use of digital technology for entertainment increased productivity; while perceptions of negative aspects of digital technology reduces productivity. However, it has been determined that the tendencies towards digital technology are higher in males, younger groups and higher education levels. On the other hand, the productivity of the sector employees with a high number of years of experience in the enterprise is low.
