Cultural assets included in banknotes of the Republic of Türkiye

In this study, which was revealed within the scope of the research, for the first time in a thesis as a whole, T.C. All of its banknotes have been examined, especially on tangible cultural assets. The subject with an interdisciplinary point of view; have been tried to be examined, researched and finalized. This thesis work; It deals with the identification, evaluation and classification of the cultural assets on the Turkish Lira banknotes in nine emission groups, which started with the proclamation of the Republic and have been printed until today (1923-2023). Following the general lines drawn in the first part of the research, which consists of five main sections, detailed information is given about the money phenomenon and the studies and researches on the history of money, the concept of cultural assets and the framework of the cultural assets visualized on the Turkish Lira banknotes are determined. Third part; It is the catalog section that examines the tangible cultural assets determined and listed according to emission groups, on the banknotes of the Republic, and constitutes the main core of the research. In the fourth part, on the identified concrete cultural assets; evaluated according to the period, type, usage, visualization processes, and the classification of all banknotes was tabulated. As a result of the study, which was created as the fifth and last section; Analyzes were synthesized with the results of processes, catalogues, sorting tables and subject graphics. It has been concluded with the determination of quantitative (in the context of 153 banknotes) and qualitative (dirigism and manipulation) connections over the separating and binding elements. Moreover; While at least one cultural property is included in all of the first and eighth emission groups, it is understood that only two concrete cultural properties are included as illustrations in the ninth emission group, and the figures are concentrated in the last emission group. The cataloging, classification and evaluation of this classification will be made in the light of main sources and documents in terms of architectural works and cultural values of the Manipulative banknotes, which were printed in the history of the Republic of Turkey, and also visualized through a cumulative perception.
