Abstract (EN)

Energy is one of the most important needs of humanity in the past, present and future. Energy consumed per capita is one of the indicators of economic development. Energy cannot be considered separate from the economy, so the energy economy is born. Energy, which is the key to development, is a problem in the world, especially in developing countries due to the depletion of resources. Turkey's foreign trade deficit is due to a large portion of energy imports. In this study, the supply, demand and consumption of types of energy in Turkey and which sectors consumes them are examined and the relation between Turkey and its commercial relations with its most energy exporters are analyzed.
