Abstract (EN)

By reason of the increase in demand for petroleum in the World in 1970, huge amount of capital has been accumulated in Middle-East countries. Islamic Banking has emerged from using this capital in an islamic manner in these countries and also it has grown up rapidy in West countries with the name Non-Interest Banking Islamic banking in Turkey has started in 1983 with the name "ÖFK" and then it was accepted as a new banking type in 2005. Hence with the new legislation, participating banks have had the same rights and obligations as clasic banks. After that year it became important to analyse the performences of participating banks when they reach a competitive level as other banks. For that reason, the situation of participating banks in Turkish banking sector is viewed from development of collected and barrowed fons, assets, equities, number of agencies and number of staff perspectives. Than the financial changes in participating banking between 2006-2014 is dicussed. Finaly the performance of four participating banks between years of 2006-2014 are assessed with Multi-MOORA method, and performances are evaluated. Consequently, it is noticed that the 2008 World Financial Crisis affected performances of participating banks and if the financial ratios have negatif values the result of Multi-MOORA methot is wrong. So we suggest that Multi-MOORA method should be developed. We also suggested that the trends of the financial ratios and the balance sheet datas over years should be analysed delicately and should be compared with the findings during the analysis. Key Words: Participating Banks, Multi-MOORA Method, Performance Analysis
