Urban transformation in Turkey and local goverments: Esenler district municipality example

In this study, patients were examined within the scope of urban transformation Esenler district and Esenler Municipality. Perspective of the study, the level of urban transformation projects and local governments constitute urban renewal applications. Central government's role of local governments as well as the role and importance of urban transformation, duties and responsibilities are among the considerations taken into account also in this context. Esenler Municipality, urban renewal applications that have their own enterprises ESKON Inc. make out; evaluation of projects, planning, construction, and even some projects still in the tender specifications are implemented through this subsidiary. The addition Esenler Esind consisting of contractors operating in the district Inc. also began a process of awareness and Es in the township who have implemented urban renewal applications relevant to this issue as well as cooperation in Aydın University. As a result of this process, "Contracting School" seems to occur in practice.
