Evaluation of turkey's migration policy and asylum seekers between 2010-2020 years.

Migration and the phenomenon of migration, in the simplest terms, is the movement of a person or group from one place to another in order to change their place geographically. After migration, there are some positive and negative effects on both migration-receiving and migration societies, especially on immigrants. It has been observed many times that there have been significant changes in the social structures of the countries receiving immigration, especially after the mass migration movements. The Republic of Turkey has experienced many migration processes since its establishment due to its geographical location. It has been subjected to individual and mass migration many times, on occasion for force majeure and in some cases due to its better conditions than its surroundings. Especially since 2010, the negative situations in the neighbouring country Syria and the mass migration that took place after the civil war have been seen as the most crowded population movement in Turkey's migration history. Turkey host approximately 4 million people from Syria today by following an open-door policy toward mass migration. In addition, the number of refugees from Pakistan and Afghanistan, whose numbers have been increasing in recent years, have been trying to come to Turkey and continue their lives here. This study chronologically evaluates the immigration policies that it has implemented since Turkey's proclamation of the Republic, especially what new policies have been produced in the post-2010 period.
