In this study, the document review model, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The research data were selected from the TRT repertoire by a purpose-oriented random method. In the research, 100 folk songs recorded in the TRT repertoire and thought to be derived from each other were examined in detail. The similarities and differences of the folk songs with each other were interpreted by comparing the table and note materials. Folk songs with similar melodies and lyrics in the same region, the same province or district, different melodies and similar lyrics in distant regions have formed folk song varieties.
