Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to examine the 11th grade students' IGCSE program Mathematics exam success levels according to some variables. The study was conducted with 963 11th grade students in all public high schools located in the city center of Uşak. In the study, scanning design, one of the quantitative research models, was used because the current situation was wanted to be revealed as it is. The data of the research were obtained with the IGCSE program, the June 2016 Mathematics course 1st Session exam. The exam consists of 20 questions and the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was calculated as 0.922. Independent group t-test; whether students' mathematics exam success scores show a significant difference to the variables of gender and participation in the Support and Training course; ANOVA test was used to determine whether there was a significant difference according to school type, field preferences, and mother and father educational status. Bonferroni test was used to determine the source of significant differences. In this process, analysis was made using SPSS 26.0 program. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the mathematics exam success scores of 11th grade students did not differ according to gender; It was seen that the mathematics exam success scores of the students who participated in the course were significantly higher with a significant difference. Significant differences were observed between school type, field preferences, mother and father education status, and mathematics exam success scores. When the literature is examined, the fact that there is no research conducted at high school level using the IGCSE exam increases the importance of the results of this research.
