Adoption of international imam hatip high school students: Example of International Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah Anatolian Imam Hatip High School

International Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools, Religious Foundation of Turkey depend on the Ministry of Education and Religious Education General Directorate of as a result of cooperation and consultations to students from different countries of the world, is a project that aims to provide training in Turkey. Students from different countries are studying in the first part learning Turkish in Turkey. In other periods, takes quantitative, verbal and vocational courses like Turkish students. Located in Turkey's first opened in Kayseri in Turkey different cities and finally opened in 2020, totaling 14 units in Mersin international religious high schools services. Within the scope of our study and will give their first graduates this year, Prof. Dr. Muhammed Hamidullah Anatolian Imam Hatip High School there are a total of 312 students, 98 of whom are international students. Students from different cultures are expected to adapt to the social, cultural and religious life of that country in order to continue their education in the country of origin. In our study, we focused on the adaptation status of international imam hatip high school students within the framework of the concepts of harmony, social harmony, cultural adaptation, acculturation and cultural shock. In this context, international students will be screened in Turkey and the world in research on the location and will be presented in a categorical manner. The aim of our study is to deal with the harmony of international students studying in International Anatolian Imam Hatip High Schools. In our study, one-to-one interviews and in-depth observations were made with students from 30 different countries, including one student from each country from Africa, Central Asia, the Far East and the Caucasus. Research in international students coming to Turkey is noteworthy religious factors. It is seen that those who use different alphabets have more difficulty in adapting to the education of international students. Friendship relations and participation in leisure time activities affect the social adaptation of students. It makes it difficult for a person with a different culture to adapt to their new cultural life. The fact that the incoming students are Muslim provides an advantage in religious harmony, and sectarian differences do not pose any problems for students.
