The aim of this study was to examine the predictive relationship between social media addiction and communication skills of university students. Relational screening model from descriptive research techniques was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 152 students studying at 38 universities in 18 provinces. (Note: 3 students who participated in the research did not say the city they studied, 3 students did not say the university they studied and 9 students did not say the department / program they studied.) The 'Social Media Addiction Scale' was used to determine students' social media addiction and the 'Communication Skills Scale' scales were used to determine their communication skills. For the data obtained in the study, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and simple linear regression analysis tests were applied through the SPSS program.
