The cultural factors for university students to watch the famous tv serial, Diriliş Ertuğrul (Sample of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University)

The universe of research is the students of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University. The research is limited to the cultural factors. The sample group consists of 400 students. The method of research is a theoretical and practical method. A conceptual and theoretical framework was drawn in the theoretical section and a questionnaire study consisting of nominal scale questionnaires with "Yes", "No", "Undecided" options was conducted among the students studying at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and watching Diriliş Ertuğrul. Since the purpose of the study was to determine the reasons for the follow-up, the values above the mean were tested whether they differed from the mean by a single sample t-test with a 95% probability. Test results give the following values: t-statistics which is calculated with t-test, sd: degree of freedom, p: probability value. The follow-up rates, which are less than the probability value of 0.05, are different from the mean with 95% probability. According to the results obtained at the end of the research, university students watch the TV serial "Diriliş Ertuğrul" as it is more suitable for its national culture, traditions and customs and because it reflects Turkish history.
