Abstract (EN)
In weaving mills, one of the branches of the textile industry, which is one of the important business lines, noise emerges as the most important risk factor. Noise negatively affects the health and working efficiency of the workers who use the machines, especially in the environments in the weaving workshops where many machines are operated together. Due to the high level of noise, permanent or temporary hearing loss as well as the psychological negative effects of the workers, the probability of fatigue, tiredness and injury or fatal accidents due to this adverse situation increases. In this study, it is aimed to make noise analyzes in five weaving mills with different working environments in Uşak Region and to suggest necessary measures to be taken in the light of the obtained data.
