Abstract (EN)

The objective of this research is to compare social intelligence level of children with superior mind with children that display normal development. Social intelligence level that is not hereditary is affected by attitudes of parents, social environment and schools starting from early childhood. This research was based on comparison of the social intelligence level of children who study in schools for superior minds with that of children who study in normal schools. Social intelligence level of these children was also compared with the features of their demographic information. The research was conducted on children of 12-14 years (adolescents) who study in Istanbul city of Turkey. For analysis I have used Demographic Information Form developed by myself and Tromso Social Intelligence Scale developed by Silvera and friends. The result of the research proved that the social intelligence level of children with superior mind was considerably higher than that of the children with normal development.
