Ergonomic approach to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University

'''' The Economic Approach to Van Yüzüncü Yıl University '', In the thesis study, the ergonomic structure of the University is discussed . Generally The entrance stairs of the buildings, entrance doors, wheelchair disabled ramps, elevators, visual design for the disabled, University's sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, stations, sports facilities and parking the values obtained were examined compared with standard values . As a result of these studies; Van Yüzüncü Yıl University for non-disabled individuals while positive results were obtained for general , some designs were not ergonomic in the evaluation . The designs of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University were found to be insufficient in terms of sight and wheelchair disabled people and most of them were not ergonomic in their design. These examinations were evaluated by comparing with the anthropometric values made according to human physical characteristics . Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, the designs made after the Van earthquake of 2011 were found to be more ergonomic. We believe that the ergonomics of new buildings, sidewalks and other areas to be built in our university in the following years are important for facilitating the life on campus . As Van Yüzüncü Yıl University continues its studies , this study includes the analysis of the studies conducted until June 2017. This study will be an important example for the design and construction for both Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and other universities.
