18th century poet Ahmed Me'âbî Divan (Text-examination-religious and sufism analysis)

This work; It deals with the life of the poet, his literary personality, the religious and mystical analysis of his poems, and the analysis of the criticized text of Dîvân, based on the Dîvân of Ahmed Me'âbî. Me'âbî is a Sufi poet who lived in the 18th century. His real name is Ahmed. The date of birth is not mentioned in the sources. The poet, whose life we have limited knowledge, died in 1798-99 in the city of Heraklion in Crete due to the plague. The poet is a sheikh of the Halveti sect. There are four works of Ahmed Me'âbî that we can detect. These; Dîvân, Musaffâ, Terceme-i Ezhârü'l-Akdesiyye and Hazarâtü'l-Hams Treatise. The only copy of Dîvân, which is the subject of our thesis, is registered in Millet Library, Ali Emîrî Collection Mutefferik Department at 08024/02. Our study was conducted on this copy line. Ahmed Me'âbî's Dîvân is a medium volume work. The work prepared by us consists of 144 poems, including 2 qasidah, 136 ghazals, 2 murabba, 3 muhammes and 1 museddes. It is seen that the content of the work is dominated by religious and mystical discourse. The work consists of introduction and four main sections. In the introduction, information is given about the 18th century Ottoman and Divan poetry. In the first part, the information obtained about the life and literary personality of Ahmed Me'âbî is given. In the second part, the features of Divan's form, harmony, language and style are examined. In the third chapter, religious and mystical analysis of Dîvân has been made. In the last part, there are features of the copy of Dîvân, the points to be taken into consideration in the establishment of the text and the transcription text.
