Abstract (EN)
In this study, the dynamics of democracy and republic relations which are discussed in Turkey and to act in the presence of a new constitution is to be sought to demonstrate how to determine the relationship with this dynamic. Democracy, centuries-long and controversial adventure is examined and the theoretical background of the study is formed. Turkey's constitutional development is focused on examining the current debates from the late Ottoman period. A new constitution in Turkey, how to prepare, what to do to build consensus among stakeholders as the ground is identified with conflict and tension areas.
