The effect of mother's voice, music voice and white noise applied during venous bloodletting from newborn on the pain and physical parameters

The research is done with randomized controlled and as experimental with the aim of to evaluate the effect of applied the mother's voice, music voice and white noise during venous bloodletting from the newborn on pain and physical parameters. The research is carried out at Health Practice and Research Center Infant Intensive Care Unit at Düzce University and Training and research Hospital of Karabük University in September 2017 - June 2019. This research is carried out with 80 newborn. Its determined for music voice 20 newborn, white noise 20 newborn, mother voice 20 newborn and control group 20 newborn. Babies are chosen to the groups randomly and the babies who is in control group didn't get any application except for routine ones. The babies who is in research groups get listened music voice, white noise and mother voice. After these implementations, the pains and physical parameters is evaluated. When the infants pain is evaluated; the average NIPS values of the babies who is in control group is found meaningly high from the newborn who is in music voice group, white noise group and mother voice group (p<0.5) When physical parameter results are evaluated, the newborn who is in mother voice group average Spo2 value is found meaningly high from the ones in control group and mother voice group (p<0.5) As a result; to diminish the pain of the newborn all applications are given better results if you compere with control group and its seen that the most effective method is mother's voice. As the result from to study, for a positive progress in the newborn pain and physical parameters, non-pharmatological applications are recommended.
