Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the importance of renewable energy cooperatives in rural development has been examined. Tunceli Pertek county as a rural area has been examined in terms of renewable energy cooperatives. All residential areas of the province are considered both biogas and solar energy potential. The number of cattle and heat consumption were determined by conducting a survey study in settlements. In addition, electricity consumption of residential areas has been obtained through the company supplying electricity to the district. Thus, if the electricity and thermal requirements of residential areas are met by renewable energy technologies, the necessary system dimensions and costs are determined. In addition, a village in the light of the potential data obtained is determined at the point of application of the sample renewable energy cooperative. The social impacts of the establishment of a renewable energy cooperative in a rural settlement area have been examined. In addition, the incentive and support programs needed to implement these technologies, which have high initial investment costs, are emphasized.
