The Healthy Eating Index 2015 (HEI-2015) was used to assess the diet quality of individuals, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PUKI) to assess sleep quality, and the World Health Organization (WHO) categorized classification was used to determine the Body Mass Index (BMI). The mean HEI-2015 score of the participants was 49.07 ± 12.43. The mean of the individuals PSQI total score is 5.51 ± 2.96. According to the PSQI grouping, 55% of the individuals were in the poor sleep quality group and 45,0% were in the good sleep quality group. The average BMI of the participants was 25.15 ± 5.23. 47,8% of the participants were in the normal BMI group, 31,0% in the overweight BMI group, 15,0% in the obese BMI group and 6,2% in the underweight group. HEI-2015 groups and PSQI groups were found to differ significantly (p<0.05). HEI-2015 groups and BMI groups did not show a significant difference (p>0.05). BMI groups do not differ significantly in terms of PSQI classification. As a result, it was found that there is a relationship between sleep quality and diet quality in adults aged 18-64, but sleep quality and diet quality are not related to BMI.
