Abstract (EN)

This study examined the effect of the Let Your Star Shine Psychoeducation Program (LYSS-PEP), developed based on the Wellness Star Model, on high school students' psychological resilience and dispositional hope. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up measurements, including experimental and control groups, and was supported by qualitative data collected within an embedded mixed-methods framework. In the study, the data collection instruments included the Brief Psychological Resilience Scale, the Dispositional Hope Scale, the Wellness Planning Form, the Wellness Plan Monitoring and Evaluation Form, and the Brief Information Form. The experimental intervention was conducted with 22 high school students, 11 assigned to the experimental group and 11 to the control group. Quantitative data were analyzed using repeated-measures ANOVA. The findings indicated that LYSS-PEP led to a significant and sustained increase in students' hope levels, while improvements in psychological resilience emerged at the follow-up stage. Qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis and organized around five main themes: self-knowledge and inner awareness; goal-oriented striving and motivational processes; behavior change and sustainable habits; strengthening social and emotional skills; and meaning-making and hope development. Overall, the results demonstrate that LYSS-PEP is a feasible, multidimensional, school-based psychoeducation program and contributes positively to students' overall wellness.
