The effect of manager's ethical leadership behavior according to teacher perceptions on total quality management: Example of Duzce province

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between managers' ethical (Example Of Düzce Province).leadership behaviors and total quality management. The population of the research is composed of teachers working in the schools of Düzce province and district centers. 895 teachers answered and contributed the data collection tool of the research. By using descriptive relational survey model quantitative data were collected. In order to obtain the data 44 sub-dimensions ethical leadership and three subdimensions Evaluation Total Quality Management Studies in Primary Schools 52 developed were used. Data collection tool consisting of two parts was applied to the teachers. In the first part, questions releated to demographic characteristics and in the second part, five point Likert type scale consisting of teachers' TOM practices and managers' level of demonstrating Ethical Leadership principles in management practices were used. It has been tried to determine whether there is a significant difference between the demographic data obtained from the data collection tool and values obtained from the application tools. In the study, it was subjected to the normal distribution test before starting the analyzes.For this purpose the assumption of normality was investigated and it was determined that (skewness) and (kurtosis) values of the analysis data set were among the desired values. In the context of the result, it was seen that the data showed normal distribution. Therefore, the analyzes were analyzed through parametric tests. As the data obtained according to the normality test results of the measurement instruments v used show normal distribution, t-test was used in demographic data with more than two variables and ANOVA analysis was used in data with more than two variables. The data obtained from the measurement instruments of the research are handled in four dimensions. The first dimension is "What are Perceptions of Teachers on Ethical Leadership Behaviors of Managers". Second dimension is "What are the Perceptions of Teachers about TQM practices in Schools?". The third dimension is "Do the Ethical Leadership Behavior of Teachers Perceive According to Teachers' Perceptios?".The fourth dimension is "Do The TQM Practices in Schools According to Teachers Perceptions Show a Significant Difference in Gender, Age, Task, Type of School, Year of Service?" According to the result of the study, there was no significant difference between the perceptions of teachers as ethical leaders in terms of age, duty and year of service; There was a significant diffrence in the communicative ethics subdimension of gender and schooltype variable, but not in other dimension. According to the results of the research, it is seen that administrators exhibit more ethical behaviors in terms of communicative ethics than women and men, and teachers perceive that managers exhibit different leadership in terms of behaviors ethics in the school type variable. Accordingly, it was observed that women perceive the ethical bahaviors of managers at a higher level than men. Therefore, women see the decisions of the managers in practise more ethical than men.
