Descriptive statistics were tested for normality in the analysis of the data, and when it was understood that the data were normally distributed, the t-test was used to compare the means of two independent groups, and in the analysis of more than two groups, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Pearson Correlation Analysis were used to determine the relationship levels between continuous variables. Significance level was accepted as p<0.05. In conclusion; From the research data, educated and high-income families prefer the swimming branch (p<.05), gender does not make a significant difference in choosing the branch, being active and expecting swimming (p>.05), age factor is not related to the branch and branch. It is effective on the level of engagement (p<.01) but does not affect the expectation levels much, p>.01), the time spent in the branch has a slight correlation with all the sub-dimensions (p<.01), the sportsmen who are trained in public schools tend to branch more. It is understood that these students prefer private clubs more (p<.05). In order to examine the research subject in more detail, it can be suggested to be repeated in different cities, with different branches, by adding different independent variables, and to support trainers and physical education teachers with inservice training in order to better understand and transfer these issues to athletes.
