Abstract (EN)
A totaliterian structure was never thought in Turkish politics following the proclamation of the republic; CHP, the first party if the republican period, was founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk himself following the days when the TBMM started its activities and the management of the country was carried out by this party. By founding a secind party in the assembly in order to represent the people, not too much time was waited and TPCF established its place in Turkish politics half a year after forming the assembly. This first try in 1925 and the second one with SCF in 1930 lasted too short due to the fragile period on those days in which our country underwent. The idea of passing into a period of multi-party politics continued after Ataturk passed away and a multi-party period in the history of Turkish Republic, which would last longer compared with previous trials, started to flourish with Demokrat Party having its place in politics. DP led the management of the country for a decade by taking over the 27-year-CHP power after completing its organization and winning the elections in 1950. This period ended due to the military intervention on 27th May 1960 and the multi-party order interrupted. After the proclamation of the republic and performing the revolutions between 1923 and 1938, Turkish politics experienced a one-party period for seven years and a multi-party period for fourteen years in a period of 21 years between 1939 and 1960. As a result of the study, during the period between 1939 and 1960, which coincided with the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of the periods of the TBMM, it has been noticed that all the representations were from CHP except one, in which a representative took part in the elections from CHP but later joined DP, and 40 representatives took on all the 65 representation places by means of some being elected more than once. The representatives of Malatya performed many tasks in the comissions while on duty in the Assembly and spoke for their parties, comissions and themselves. It has been determined that the representatives of Malatya had 404 works including talks, declarations and proposals concerning the agenda of the country and Malatya. Key words: Turkish Geand National Assembly, Politics, the representatives of Malatya
