Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the anxiety levels and distraction of Physical Education and Sports Teachers working in the city center of Van during 2011-2012 and 2014-2015 academic years, according to the 2012 and 2015 practices. The questionnaire which was applied to 92 teachers was evaluated. Continuous Anxiety Inventory, Adult Attention Disorder Scale and Personal Information Form were used for the necessary data. The results of the research were as follows; weekly course load status (in the fourth category), location during the earthquake (in the first category), collapse of the building during the earthquake (in the second category), loss of life in the earthquake, SK level (in the first category) DD level (1st and 2nd). The difference between years shows that there is a significant relationship between house damage status (category 4) and place of residence. However, gender, age, marital status and child status are related to the location (2, 3, 4). It was determined that there was no significant relationship with the variables of collapse in the building during the earthquake (category 1), loss of life in the earthquake (level 2), damage to the house (category 1, 2, 3). In addition, there is a direct correlation between the participants' Continuous Anxiety Levels and Attention Disorder. In other words, the DD level increases as the participants' SK level increases. The SC scores of the participants were higher than the normal SC population (36-41) in each variable and both years. With this result, it can be said that the symptoms of Continuous Anxiety level and the symptoms of Attention Disorder status of the earthquake survivors living in the Van Earthquake in 2011 may continue for years. In addition, although there is no data on whether the participants in this study do regular sports or not, it can be said that the participants are intertwined with sports since they are Physical Education and Sports Teachers. individuals are thought to play an important role in coping with many psychological disorders over time. Keywords: trait anxiety inventory (ske), distraction (dd), physical education and sport, earthquake
