Smart municipal work and urban transformation in 21st century (Başaksehir Municipality model)

Within the scope of this thesis study, intelligent urbanism and urban form and planning approaches emerged with the concept of urban renewal, the development process of urban renewal since 1900, the urban transformation projects and basic issues as an instrument of urban renewal, and the concept of sustainable urban development. These approaches include in-depth interviews at the municipal level and questionnaires used in the community scale, evaluating the projects made in urban areas for urban renewal and urbanization especially in the USA, by taking into consideration the features, examples, application tools and techniques of intelligent urbanism approach and project adaptation matrices of intelligent urbanism It will be held. Selected examples from the urban transformation areas of Başakşehir Municipality were evaluated for their work on intelligent urbanism.
