The planned training given to adolescents to determine the effect of menstruation and genital hygiene to behavior

Research to ensure that adolescent girls menstruation and obtain accurate information about the subject by identifying the lack of information on perineal hygiene was conducted in. On the date of the study the sample consisted of a total of 355 female students at the school. The data collection tools data collection forms and pre/post questionnaire was used to assess the information. One day after survey data collected and prepared for students to menstruation, physiology and hygiene education brochures are given. Education has been identified and the process of becoming habit again last test was applied to find out the effectiveness of the training set after 12 weeks. Descriptive statistics for the analysis of data in numeric variables (mean standard deviation, minimum, maximum) distributions for categorical variables are given. Whether the dependent relationship between two categorical variables were analyzed with the McNemar test. As the statistical significance p<0.05 was adopted. In our study, the average age of students 12.05±0.87 (the distribution range 11-15 years) were found. Parental education level of students in vocational schools were similar in both income levels. In our study, knowledge of the resources that are received about menstruation is often determined that the majority of students said their mother. Most of the students were found to switch to the menstrual period. Our work has started to use cotton underwear most of the students in training (p<0.001) was found to increase the frequency of change compared to before training underwear (p<0.001). When we look at students in the genital area cleaning, it appears that the decrease in training students to use soap after cleaning the genital area-primary education has been made that the reduction in training (p<0.001). In our research join our students in ways to make the cleaning of the polluted area after using the toilet now, the proportion of those who correctly cleaning from front to back after training is examined (p<0.001) before the students' education menstruation period napkins were determined to start using sanitary pads after training when using products such as clean cloth (p<0.001). Students menstruation period after changing the pre-training pads with a 8-12 hour range that has been changed to 4-5 hours' time (p<0.001). Our study data from both the girl and adolescence of nurses in the light of giving training in the menstruation mothers should be advised to consider these issues, the nurse will take part in the consideration of health education to be effective in the attitudes arising from not only information on applications to contribute to the elimination of shortcomings in this respect traditions and customs.
