The doctrinaire suluk of the mind "the positioning of mind in Lamii Celebi's Husn u Dil"

The Ottoman has been intertwined with sufism from the foundation to its destruction. It can be clearly seen that this situation is reflected in Ottoman poetry, music, architecture and other sense of art during its historical process. Husn u Dil from Lamii Celebi, which is the subject of this thesis, is one of the important works that reflects Ottoman art as the literary form of sufism. In this work, which is essentially translation, a gradual narrative of the classical seyr u suluk approach is created in the Ottoman sufi area, although a little different, was allegorically strengthened. The difference from the classical understanding is that the salik first provides theoretical knowledge and then completes the stage of delightedly suluk. While many works have been written in this field, the most important reason for this work lies in trying to complete salik's suluk both in heart and mind stages. In this way, the idea of being distant from rational which directed to sufism was attempted to be eliminated in one aspect, if not at all, over the studied work. Although the sufi maqams were exhibited in the examination of the work together with the comments, we tried to concentrate more on the doctrinaire perspective and mind relationship.
