COVID-19 has the potential to be dangerous both individual health and the health of other communities. COVID-19 has affected nearly the entire human population since its emergence. Adolescents and young adults have been identified as a potentially low-compliance group with preventative measures aimed at curbing the virus's spread especially with social distancing measures. The purpose of this study evaluate the socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge, and behaviour of adolescent COVID-19 health protocol compliance. This study also to investigate whether there is correlation between adolescents sociodemographic characteristic, knowledge and behaviour with health protocol compliance. This research is a cross-sectional study with univariate and bivariate analysis between independent and dependent variables using the Chi-Square test. A total of 327 students follow this study. In this study, adolescents were interviewed on sociodemographic (age, gender and education), knowledge and behaviour related to preventive behaviour and COVID-19 health protocol compliance. Most of adolescents in this study seem to to have low knowledge and behavior in terms COVID-19 prevention. Majority of adolescents not following COVID-19 health protocols. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 26 program. The result of this study shows that three of the five independent variables have a significant correlation with health protocol compliance, with gender (Pvalue 0.002), knowledge (Pvalue 0.001) and behaviour (Pvalue 0.000).
