Abstract (EN)
In this research, 66 taxa ethnobotanical plants belonging to 39 families were determined in Alanya (Antalya). Lamiaceae, Rosaceae and Pinaceae families are the families with the most examples. Some taxa are used more than once for different purposes. Australien pine is the taxon with the highest usage purpose (4). 39 taxa from ethnobotanical plants are used as food. Some of these are washed after being collected and consumed by cooking. Some are consumed fresh without cooking. There are plants that are consumed in the consistency of molasses after long processes. Molasses obtained from cones is very popular. Recently, molasses is made from black pine and red pine cones, especially Juniper. Apart from these, it is found in plants whose onions are consumed. Some ethnobotanicals are considered commercial. After being collected, it is offered for sale, sometimes in that way and sometimes through various processes. In this way, it is possible to gain a significant income especially in rural areas. Some of them are prioritized and encouraged by the Forestry Administration and provide planning support. Morel is the most important in this regard. Apart from this, laurel leaves and thyme taxa are also important commercial products. These are either naturally collected (mushrooms are mostly like this) or after some processes (drying etc.) they are sold in the markets or to the traders who come to buy the product itself. Some ethnobotanicals such as Laurelleaf, Orchid and Snowdrop are traded with special permission and in a planned manner. Apart from these, ethnobotanics, which are used especially as medicinal-aromatic, stand out. Today, it is still important as the first method used against many ailments. The first place of application in colds is thyme juice or oil. In addition, important requirements of our daily life such as furniture are obtained from ethnobotany.
