Language and style in theatrical works of Aliasgar Kemal

This study has been prepared in order to show language and style characteristics of theatre texts of Aliasgar Kemal, who is one of the most important names of Tatar literature and founder of modern Tatar theatre.The thesis titled as ?Language and Style in Theatrical Works of Aliasgar Kemal? involves Introduction, Life and Works of Aliasgar Kemal, Analysis, Conclusion, References, Dictionary and Text sections. In the Introduction section, general information on the conceptual field of the art of theatre, main principles and types was given and then the cultural and literal environment in which the author had been raised was evaluated with the main lines. After that, development of the Tatar theatre which was started with Biçare Kız of Abdurrahman İlyasi and continued until now was discussed. Life and works of the author were evaluated under separate titles at the 1st Section titled as Life and Works of Aliasgar Kemal. The 2nd Section of the thesis is Analysis in which the plays of the author were evaluated in terms of language and style characteristics. This section has the main titles of Spelling and Language Characteristics, World of Word, Sentence and Expression Techniques. In each of these sections, original usages and differences specific to the author detected in the analysis were pointed out. After the sections of Conclusion, in which analysis and obtained detections were evaluated as a whole, and Text, in which transcribed forms of texts were given, there is a Dictionary which will help to understand texts.
