Abstract (EN)
In this thesis the applications of the occupational health and safety in Europe and Turkey and the impact of the risks and hazards faced by employees, work accidents, occupational diseases and work towards taking measures. Employees are exposed to many risks arising from their work and their working environment. As a result of these risks various work accidents and occupational disease have been occurred. These risks were affected both heath employees and patients. There is no doubt that to eliminate or to try to prevent risks and hazards faced by employees who works in the operating room will effect patients health as much as employees and will affect the quality of the services they receive. Finally, there are some improvements in the field of occupational health and safety by the regulation of labor law in our country, but the arrangements made in health care has not been adequate and effective. This study indicates that operating staff exposure to many risks and work accidents and occupational disease occurs as a result of these risks.
