Abstract (EN)
This thesis was formed as a semantics study on Kitabu Gülistan bi't-Turkî which was taken in 1391 by Mameluk Kipchak Turkish. The themes of semantics have mainly come from two main parts, namely Sentence Semantics and Word Semantics. It is concluded that the work is a very rich source both in terms of Sentence Semantics and Word Semantics, and it is foreseen that the methods used in the study can serve as an example for later theses. The elements of sentence semantics in Kitābu Gülistān bi't-Turkî, XIV. century is a period in which the semantic dimensions of the collectives have developed considerably with the sentence order and structure of the centuries old Kipchak Turkish. VI. Century the Turkish language, which has been able to follow the development through written texts since the middle of the century, has developed its semantic functions in both the sentence and the word dimension in a wide scale by showing its own characteristics in this period. Kitābu Gülistān bi't-Turkî was studied in many ways in terms of Semantics and organized in titles. The main consequence of our work we have dealt with is the need to treat all the works that have emerged as literary texts in Turkish language history in their own contexts.
