The application of accessories used in Ancient Greek period in jewelery art today

Ancient Greek Period, that occurred between 756 B.C. and 146 B.C. and spread to the lands of present-day Greece and Anatolia. The history of Ancient Greek civilization goes back to the Paleolithic Age. As a peninsula, Greece has the Ionian Sea to the west, the Aegean Sea to the east and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. The Ancient Greeks believed in a polytheistic religion. Art, design and philosophy took an important place in Ancient Greece. History of Greek costumes are analyzed in three different historical periods. After the Industrial Revolution, new designs emerged in craftsmanship workshops. In the 1960s, when fashion experienced significant developments, serious developments also occurred in jewelry design. Jewelry and accessories have formed a significant share in the fashion production sector and have taken a place in the field of education. Greek art, which pioneered many civilizations, is also a sought-after resource in today's designs. The aim of this study; It has passed into the literature and all branches of Greek arts will be examined and introduced in a way to be used today.
