Abstract (EN)
R&D expenditures play an important role in reducing foreign dependency in technology, in the growth and development of the country's economy. In this study, the effect of R&D Expenditures on macroeconomic variables was investigated. Based on 1990-2018 period in Turkey the relationship between R & D expenditures of Economic Growth and Export variable has been tested through cointegration and error correction models. According to the long-term findings a positive relationship was found on both economic growth and exports of R&D expenditures. According to the analysis results obtained from the short-term findings it is determined that error correction mechanism is working and long term findings are supported.
